Sightings - "s/t"

OK...lotsofnoise's 1st review. YEAH! I am really pleased to say that the 1st submission comes straight from the dirty hands of Providence local - Ben from Load Records. The package included this Sightings CD and the new Ollneyville Sound System. This CD is freekin in your face. Aggressive, cacophonous noise rock that is somehow pleasant to listen to. While it is missing the "riffage" that truly makes me gravitate to a record...this one rocks pretty hard. These guys are from NY, but they are definitely hitting it with current Providence style. The swanky pink and baby blue covers for the LP are silk screened with limited availability (LP is on colored vinyl as well). Check out the mp3 below to hear my personal favorite from the CD. It is on Load...so how can you go wrong?

NYC 3-piece rock banshees. Super lo-fi, high-energy ear assault. Paper thin guitar attacks, fuzz-rumble bass overdrives and drums that beat the shit out of your mind. People with heart conditions and pregnant women beware. Dance, dance, dance! Fans of Lightning Bolt, Harry Pussy, Wolf Eyes, and Pink And Brown should check this out.
